bbdesignpa on "[Plugin: BackUpWordPress] BackupWordpress slows down whole backend"

Hi!

Just wanted to give the author a heads up that on the latest WordPress version (4.5.1 when writing this) the plugin slows down the entire backend even when not backing up.
What usually just takes a fem milliseconds (navigation) takes up to 5-10 seconds.
I've disabled this application, only enabling it when I need to make a backup, which is kinda frustrating but I'll survive for now :)

Can you report if updating to 3.6.1 helps the problem you're having at all?

Hi, Kat!

Updating the plug-in did not help unfortunately, when the plug-in is activated the whole back-end seems to run on a toaster :O
I did try deactivating all other plug-ins I have with no result, I'm on the latest version on both WordPress and BackupWordPress right now.

I'm scared to upgrade to 3.6.1, most of my sites are on 3.6.0 pending this issue. Has there been any progress? Just wondering. :)
