I am trying to improve my PageSpeed score. Please help me that how can i optimize my CSS file.

I am using Bootstrap cdn with my custom stylesheet.

is it possible to combine cdn file with my custom stylesheet?
how to minify CSS and JS file?
do GRUNT can done job ? (pl tell me from where to start)
Or any other solution.

I developed my own theme for very first time.

1. Chasing pagespeed scores is futile. Good content and good design will do more for your website than a few points in pagespeed.

2. Please post a link to your site.

3. Try the plugin "W3 Total Cache". It has a lot of options for combining and minifying properly enqueued CSS.

it's not possible to combine cdn file with your custom stylesheet. I suggest you to load cdn file first then your custom stylesheet. Try loading them in following order
1. Bootstrap CDN stylesheet
2. Font or any other third party css
3. Custom stylesheet(Minified Version)

Yes you can use Grunt or Gulp for minify your CSS & JS files. In Grunt you can use "grunt-contrib-cssmin" for CSS minification and "grunt-contrib-uglify" for JS

Beside this compress your images and use appropriate file format which make your theme faster.

I am exactly using this sequence but not minified version of custom stylesheet. Pl suggest how to minify my css file.

Other problem is, I am using Bluehost shared hosting and they don't allow me using "Node.js", not even "mod_pagespeed by google".
