mmdrdesigns on "Centering Apostrophe Them"

Hi,

I have been trying to center my content within the Apostrophe theme with no luck. It is at new.mmdrdesigns.com.

The white is centered in the blue background, but the content is not centered in the white background. Is there a way to do this? Or alteatively, I am using Jetpack's social icons in the footer which is showing up centered - can I left justify this so that it matches the left justified theme? I'd much rather center everything, though.

I did create a child theme and have been attempting to edit the stylesheets, but almost everything I have found to change, has not actually changed the content on the white background.

Also, I just realized that the category (or tag) labels on my blog posts are in a button format which does not seem to have a way to edit the color. Can I edit the color (to match my blue, not the purplish color that is there) or can I remove the buttons and just have linked text there?
