As per title, I would like to have the author, and the date of publish displayed in the featured content section. Any ideas?

Hey there! It worked just fine, and the number of Idea even showed up! However, the author isn't showing sadly. Also, is there a way to expand the height of the featured content? I have a custom code added to actually display the excerpt of the post and the new additions actually pushed the second line of text out of view. Thanks!
