This just started. When I post links on Facebook the snippet shows 4 zeros directly before the description. Does anyone know how to get rid of this?

I'll bet it's picking those up from the social media icons above your content. If you install Yoast's SEO you can override the auto-snippeting.

edit the page in question and manually set the snippet. If you have specific questions about that plugin, please post them in the plugin's support forum. Go to https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/ and click on "support".
