I REALLY want to change the color of links in the contact page and any other page.

I put the following into Custom CSS and didn't see any difference:

.post-link a {
color: #510062;
padding-left: 23px;
background: url(images/icons/1x/link-c.png) no-repeat left center;
background-size: 16px auto;
}

.post-link a:hover {
color: #510062;
text-decoration: underline;
}

Looking at theme it looks like the selectors you are using won't work here, try using body .post-content a and body .post-content a:hover instead.

Unfortunately, that didn't work....so I tried body .page-content and that didn't work either. I've added inline styling to the page, but that doesn't help the automatic iPhone styling in the theme's default green/teal link color.
