dmeilhac on "[Plugin: Better Notifications for WordPress] Wrong "http//" header in permalink urlized"

ساخت وبلاگ

When I add the shortcode [permalink] in a link while writing the body of the notification, the resulting url in the mail received has a wrong header starting like this "http//www."
Thus, clicking on the link is useless as the url should start with "http://www" and not "http//www."

I use 1.4.1 version of the plugin.

Thanks

Hi dmeilhac,
Thanks for your message.

Can you tell me what notification this is for and I'll do some testing?

Thanks,
Jack

Just checked and the following shortcodes that output URLs are working fine for me and include the :// bit of the URL:

[guid]
[edit_post]

Hello
I use the "update post" notification (translating it from french but I think it's the good one).

It's too bad I can not send a video because it could be more explicit (on the proper side of the word).

If I can send it to someone let me know and I 'll send you.
You will be able to appreciate the settings and the mail received.

Thanks a lot and thank you for such a quick reply !

Hi dmeilhac,
It sounds like a possible plugin or theme conflict to me.

Can you follow this help document and let me know how you get on?

Thanks,
Jack

Hello Thank you for this support.

I did the steps on the provided link except the last one as my problem is not that I do not receive the emails.

The problem still happens.

As all extensions are now off, I can give someone an administrator Login+Pass to easily check

The example is on the "Updated Post" notification.

I also checked in the html version of the notification and it comes as is :

Thanks a lot
David
