melbspokenword on "[Plugin: Fancier Author Box by ThematoSoup] Avatar not displaying properly"

Tried two different plugins for author boxes at the bottom of my posts like this: http://melbouespokenword.com/winter-feast-spoken-word-competition-offers-1500-in-prizes/

And as you can see, the avatar doesn't sit flush with the text, it overlaps and seems a bit small too.

I just looked at the author box in your website and the author's name is clickable, linked to the author blog stream. My author name is not clickable. I'm wondering how you got it clickable?

After installing it, I got a problem - the box not only appears below the post, it also appears at the bottom of the left sidebar and footer. I'm wondering if that happended to you, and how did you get rid of them? Thank you.
