Hi there,

I'm using this plugin again and I'd like to ask you something: Is there a way to separate the batting stats from the pitching stats in the baseball module?

I'm talking in the player's page.

The thing is that the pitchers stats (batting and pitching) they all appear in one huge row, it should be in two tables. First table for the pitching stats and in another table the batting stats.

Rest of possition players is OK to have just one batting table.

Thanks

How do I get the new update to separate batting from pitching statistics?

In addition, anyway to free the top panes/rows (the stats) and freeze the 1st column (the players' names) so I as I scroll down or right of the roster of 20+ names I can see the heading and keep track who it is I am focusing on?

Thanks,
Spencer

That's a good request per @spencergolman I'd like to see that too in the responsive tables, like MLB does.

Eager to test the update with the request I made. Thanks a lot, great support!!!

Also eagerly waiting to separate the batting and pitching tables!

Also, can you add ERA field in pitching stats?

Hey everyone, I just wanted to say that separate batting and pitching stats has been added to SportsPress in version 2.0 along with the new SportsPress for Baseball extension :)

@spencergolman @frankpereiro There aren't any scripts in the plugin to freeze the first row/column, but we're looking into libraries like ZURB responsive tables to do this in a future update.

@jprons02 Yes! You can add new statistics via SportsPress > Configure. Scroll down to the Player Statistics section, then click Add New. Enter the title "ERA" then drag and drop elements to create the equation:

ERA = 9 × ( ER ÷ IP )

Hope this helps!

Hi, is it possible to separate batting and pitching stats during an import ?

Regards

Good question!

I'm sending this to our dev team

Kind Regards,
-Roch

Hi!

That's a good idea, but we don't have this feature right now, unfortunately.

We're planning on re-design the CSV import to include things like this in the future, but we don't have an ETA on that.

Kind Regards,
-Roch
