James Huff on "Wordpress is very slow"

My wordpress is getting very slow now. I am using it for a small ecommerce site. Its having around 150k products right now. And my wordpress start getting slower. hangs a bit. Dont know the reason.I have deleted the unwanted plugins but still seems nothing good.
PLease suggest what to do

I thought everything was working better after you deactivated "that pop up plugin." Is that no longer the case?

But still i am facing slow responding speed

Who is your hosting provider? Are you on a shared, VPS, or dedicated server?

You may need to repair the database.

Access your WordPress database via phpMyAdmin (most hosting providers offer this in their control panel), check all of the tables, and choose "Repair tables" from the pull-down menu.

And yes i applied this method but found nothing changes in speed.
the navigation bar hangs on till all the images of products are displayed on that particular page. i have told you earlier its a shoping webiste.
