shopro on "[Plugin: Shortcode Variables] plugin and mod_pagespeed"

I've noticed that whenever I enable mod_pagespeed for Apache2 this plugin fails to load on the first page load. I have other plugins that also use shortcodes for displaying information and they work so I suspect the problem is the plugin and not mod_pagespeed config. Which I have thoroughly tested, even with all filters tued off. Sometimes reloading the page displays the shortcode correctly but sometimes not. Is there something that could interfere with mod_pagespeed or perhaps php opcache itself to prevent the shortcode from displaying?
