jword79 on "[Theme: Pixova Lite] texts and elements not showing if not logged in"

Hi,

I have a problem I never had before with your theme and I do not understand where it comes from :
the text and other elements won't show up on pages.
However, if I am logged in, everything is fine.

Could you enlighten me on this ?

I have same problem, when logged in its all perfect on the website side, but when logged out from the wordpress it disappears everything from the home page.

Please help as soon as possible,

Now for the why: The inteet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I'm sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

From what I understand, you need to go through all the Appearances > Customize fields and re-save the strings in order for them to appear in the live website.

Let me know if this was the issue here.

@Jan Dembowski Thank you for letting me know about this, and you are absolutely right, when someone provides admin access it comes with some level of responsibilities and risks that someone else might broke something and we'll become liable for damages, but as you might know there are some cases where debugging a problem would be impossible without a live preview.

I have taken notice of this and will do my best to keep any credential requests to an absolute minimum.

I am not newbie in wordpress and know we have to save all the changes made in customization to effect the site, i m saving what i change and checking the changes when logged in every change effects on live website but when i logged out even i just tried to login to just check what is happening it has all the contents even I don't change anything but when i logged out and try visiting the live website all the texts and images disappears,

this is the actual problem if you understand it, your help will be great thanks.

I have done some testing with this and it really works like that on my behalf.

Because of some WP repo limitations, you need to go through all the fields, slightly modify the content and save the changes in customizer.

Also, please make sure that you have an up to date version of the website.

If nothing works, please take this issue to [email protected] and we'll continue the investigation from there.

I seem to be having a similar issue to @goshopwiki, when I am logged in I can see all the content eg testimonial, recent works pictures etc but when I log out these disappear. I am still left with the sections it's just they are blank. Also, the text in the two main buttons disappears.

If you could have a look at my site that would be great. The address is; joshthomsonservices.co.uk

The first thing you'll notice is the buttons, I have removed the recent works and a couple of other sections, but the testimonial section is below the pie charts and it's not displaying anything.

You are getting this behaviour because you need to go through all the fields and re-save the information.

Try first to input some other text for the buttons and save the information.

It should do the trick, let me know otherwise.

It worked lol! So simple, but I must have changed the original text in the first place so not sure why it didn't save the first time.
