I want to remove the frontpage boxes (that are also on my front page like I want them) from my blog page

I selected static front page in customize theme menue,
under "Front page displays" I clicked "a static page"
Under "posts page" i selected Blog.

For some reason my front page boxes are also on my blog page while I only want them on my front page.
