Hi there,

I'm having a problem where when the customer reaches the checkout page of my Woocommerce - storefront theme site, the customer enters in their details (Name, contact info, adress).

Below the customer details section is the Transdirect quote calculator. The customer then enters in their postcode, generates the quote, and then selects the courier option of their choice.

The problem comes when the Transdirect plugin inserts the shipping cost chosen into the #order_review table. It wipes all the the customers details that they had previously entered.

How can I stop this from happening?

Thank you for contacting us with regards to the Transdirect Plugin.

You mean when selecting a courier the pages refreshes and the details of the customers will be gone and needs entering again? For now, that is the design of the plugin, but we are developing a new way so it will not refresh and customers wont lose their details entered.

Yes, that's what I was meaning. I feel like there will be a lot of instances where the customer doesn't realise that the info has been wiped, and proceeds with payment.

I don't suppose you have an ETA on the updated design, I only have a basic knowledge of html/css, I could try to re design my site so that the customer must use the quote calculator before the checkout page, but would rather just wait on a fix if it was not too far off.

Still regarding this issue, I was wondering if you knew of any customers that use this plugin on their website successfully, so I could see how it has been implemented.

I've had multiple potential customers email me stating that they abandoned a purchase because of the complicated/confusing checkout process.
