sterndata on "Double space between numbered list without changing CSS"

I wanted to find out if it's possible to double space between a numbered list without having to go into the CSS. I'm not that proficient at CSS and I'm afraid of screwing something up. Can I do it through the "text" tab in the visual editor?

you mean between the items of a numbered list?

Press SHIFT ENTER and the end of a line and it will insert a blank space :-)

I tried that. It doesn't work. Something different because it's a list.
