Based in your steps, I think I just got where you are in the process.
Architecturally speaking, when you go through checkout (after clicking place order button), the module load/embed a view directly from Mercado Pago API. This view is created with code outside the module, that comes from the API itself. I'd like to point the following:
- Besides the view and the module are both Mercado Pago, they aren't from the same context. I will notify the API team to take a look in the view;
- I've tested a order here and haven't found the issue. The value in gray is the total value of your items and the "total" value in red is the overall value of the order (shipment+wrapping+etc). Strangely, it looks like ok here, with the sum correctly appearing to me.
