In case you're still interested in the solution, the custom CSS to change the background colour of the search box in Edin is as follows:

.search-wrapper { background: #1279be;
}

The value of #663399 can be changed to any colour code of your choice.

Please could you try removing the featured image from that page and then re-uploading to see if that resolves the issue? If the picture still isn't displaying correctly, please try deactivating Photon via Jetpack > Settings in your admin area.

Thanks for your quick respons. I did some more testing, it wasn't a plugin conflict but a conflict with a little bit of custom code in my theme's functions.php.

For others with the same problem, I used the code below to make the featured image link to the post, but that seems to conflict with WooCommerce 2.6. I've been using this code for years with WooCommerce before, never a problem, but since WooCommerce 2.6 it is a problem :-(
