mgmac, sorry for the delay, I have been traveling.

The photo demonstrates a CSS conflict, or possibly a CSS caching issue. It ccould also be an issue in the page itself where an HTML element is not formed correctly somewhere above where the shortcode was added.

I would suggest creating a separate page clean of any new elements added to them to add the shortcode to so I can take a closer look. If your theme supports it, make the page full width. Sometimes there are options under the "Page Attributes" box under the template drop down option. This way you have a new page free of other stuff added to it without sidebar content as well. Then put the shortcode in the page. If you do not have template options, then no worries.

Then clear your web server caching if present. Some hosts provide this with options in the wp-admin menu across the top, WP caching plugins have options in their settings to clear or reset the cache.

Once you do this, please reply with this new page you created so I can take a look at the CSS issues it shows.
