alexgso on "[Plugin: Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Some rows show a top border or line at the top"

I sometimes (not always!) get a line above an inserted row. Sometimes it can be removed by CSS "border-top: none !important;", but not always. Even if I copy a row that does not have that line, the copy sometimes does. It's a mystery to me. Does anyone have any idea what this is and how to solve it?

My guess is that this is related to your theme's CSS. It might be adding a top border to certain widgets.

To fix this, you can try disabling the widget class. Navigate to Settings > Page Builder in your WordPress admin. Under the Widgets tab, disable Add Widget Class.

Thanks for your reply.

Disabling the widget class doesn't seem to make any difference with regard to the border. Funny thing is, that this border does not show with every inserted row, and that even some (!) copied rows show the border, while the original doesn't. It's the apparent randomness that baffles me most.

Moreover, disabling the widget class somehow messes up my lists.

Update:

I just discovered that it's not a border at the top of the inserted row I'm seeing, but a border at the bottom of the row above the inserted row... I don't get it, as it only appears if I insert a new row, but I can remove it by applying CSS (border-bottom: none;) to the 'afflicted' row, so, problem solved, I guess.
