There is a legend associated to this image, but it doesn't show. Should the plugin display the legend in this "lightbox view"?

Are you talking about the play and pause buttons?

In the slideshow when the user move the mouse over the image, the associated legend appears. In the "lightbox view", we only can see the title of the image, and the image itself. No legend.

Sorry but I am a bit confused by the following example legend -> caption.

Can you pin point which plugin settings are you referring to?

Okay, now I know what you are talking about. Did you by any chance make changes to the style? If you did can you test one of the default styles? This is just for testing purposes.
