First time user, installed and it processes one file and then seems to hang? I enabled debugging and have pasted it here: http://pastebin.com/f8brzE5B

I can't see anything wrong? Are there specific php libraries that are needed?

Just ends with Operation Interrupted

No further errors. If I do a reset and try again, it does one image and goes through the same hang process.

OK, if I tu PNG to no compression it seems to be running through and skipping the PNG files and processing the JPGs without error. For some reason it's getting stuck on PNGs if set to lossless.

Ok, not seeing anything out of order there. It isn't shocking to see PNG images take much longer than JPG images, but it also depends a bit on the size. With parallel optimization, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Perhaps try doing a few one by one via the Media Library list view. If some fail, let me know what size they are and that might shed more light on it.

I'll keep hunting but all my PNGs have failed so far. One example:
