lgpref on "[Plugin: All-in-One Event Calendar] iCal imported feeds show wrong times - even after updates"

Dear folks,

This is a problem similar to what was noted here a month ago (). I cannot seem to figure out why our time zone issue will not reset. I tried the updates suggested in that thread with no success.

Situation:
Imported feeds (2) from this source (http://www.wccls.org/calendar)
are in Los_Angeles time zone. All events are in the Los_Angeles (Pacific) time zone. Our web server is in Ogden, UT (Mountain Time)

The time zone setting in AIO Events is "Los_Angeles".
Our site URL is http://library.cedarmill.org/events/

Regardless of what I do, the events import from iCal as +8hours. As in "9:00 am - 10:00 am" becomes "5:00 pm - 6:00 pm".

If I tu on the plugin setting "Display events in calendar time zone", they then display the correct time in all Timely formats, but in the single event post layout they read as "9:00 am - 10:00 am UTC -0".

How can I import our iCal feeds with the correct time zone in the first place, so I don't have to explain what "UTC-0" means (or why it's not relevant). Thanks for your assistance.

(We're in Pacific time -7/8 UTC depending on the time of year)

When you add or edit a feed, there is a "Convert event's date/time to calendar's timezone" option, did you activate this option?

Um, no. I guess I probably should do that [smacks forehead].
I guess when it (that feature) wasn't available during the upgrade, I forgot to go back and check it. (Before, our servers were all on the same time zone; now, your API is using something in Europe, I guess.)

I'll check to see if this fixes it, and update the thread to resolved when I know for sure. Thanks!

For each feed, I clicked Edit and then selected "Convert event's data/time to calendar's timezone". Then before I cleared the caches and refreshed the display, I changed our Settings to deselect the "Show events in calendar time zone". Voila! no UTC - 0 and all is much happier. Thanks.
