Matt Cromwell on "[Plugin: Give - WordPress Donation Plugin] Center Donate Button"

ساخت وبلاگ

Hi,

I've tried to Customize the CSS for the whole Form but this way I only Center the Div-give-wrap but I would like to have it like in your Demo Theme Nonprofit. Could you help me to customize the Css to Center the Donate Button but also the Donation Amount Field?

Thanks
Andi

Can you provide a link to your form so I can see the issue? I can provide some basic custom CSS to help get that just right for you.

Thanks!

Hi Matt,
Thank you very much but I figuered it out ... but maybe you could take a look over the site to see if i made the customizations right? The site is http://www.gemeindeberg-wien.at/donation
Maybe you could help me with another problem im facing... I translated some words with the PoEdit in Romanian Language... i copied the files in the languages-give directory like it is described in the docu.. but nothing happens... the plugin is still on german

Thank you for your help!

Looks pretty good to me!

Regarding the German. Is German the default language of the site? Give would only use the German translation if the site was configured to display German. Then, no matter what PO files you place it will stay in German.

What did you name the PO file and where to you place it exactly?

Hi Matt,

Yes German is the default language of my site but can I do something to check this problem?
I tried also to change the default language to Romanian or English but then the Form remains on English and the Translate Files doesn't work.

I named it like in the document -> give-ro_RO
I placed it in wp-content/languages/give

Thanks!
Andi

Hi Andi,

The only way for the languages of Give (or any WordPress plugin) to display in a given language is for the site settings to be set to that language. So unfortunately, if your site is set to be in German, then there's no way to display only the Give plugin in Romanian or English instead.

So the only thing you can do is set the whole site to be in Romanian, then add your localized file according to our docs here:
http://givewp.com/documentation/developers/translating-give

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Hi Matt,

I tried this. I changed the default language to Romanian -> then my Give Form is in English.
Then I created the translation files and named them give-ro_RO and placed them in the new directory wp-content/language/give

but the Form is still in English. but I have to say that I translated this time only few Words ..like First Name Last name Total Donation: and a few others... I searched all Words and translated them but it diesnt work

Hi Andy, the folder name needs to be plural: "languages" Please double-check that.

Hi Matt,

Sorry i mean languages... but I could it be that I have to create this folder once more??? I have a pre created folder which is named languages and inside there are more folders like plugins themes and so on ... but should I create a second folder which is named languages and inside of this zhe give folder???
Maybe this is my prblem..

andy

The "languages" folder in Give is there on purpose, but for overriding languages you want the final path to be this:

/wp-content/languages/give/give-ro_RO.po
