Tropical Storm Ian forms, expected to impact Florida as major hurricane

May reach us by Wednesday. Of course we (the locals) are used to all the scare tactics the local media uses to spark a frenzy, it may reach us just as a mild rain storm. Some people, however, are going nuts. There was barely any water left at the local WalMart last night. Long lines at the gas stations. I think the nubes (the ones that moved here to avoid covid restrictions) and the snowbirds are the ones that are having a meltdown.
