I see no change whether the Sidebar Background Overlay Opacity slider is all the way left or right - can I tu it off altogether? CSS?

Right now the slider is full left...

I noticed that you have some custom CSS

.custom-background .sidebar:before {
    background-color: #000;
}

That might be the issue. I just tried my local test site and was able to get varying opacity levels as I dragged the slider and checked the front of the site.

Delete the above CSS and see if that solves it.
