Hi,
thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
What happens when you click on "All Tables"? Do you see errors?
Can you please try again after setting the WP_DEBUG constant to true in your wp-config.php file, maybe with the help of https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Debug ?
Regards,
Tobias
This is the message we get:
The http://www.aauwprescott.net page isn’t working
http://www.aauwprescott.net is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500
I will try to do what you request re WE_DEBUG constant
I'm sorry but I'm not a programmer. I tried to find the root directory and wp-config.php file where it says I can change the DEBUG constant to true, but I don't know how to access the root directory.
Hi,
you'd find that via your FTP program.
That error sounds like a server issue so that you might also want to contact your webhost company about this. They should be able to assist with that WP_DEBUG change as well.
Regards,
Tobias
With the help of Bluehost I've changed the WP-DEBUG value to true.
Hi,
great! What do you now see when trying to go to the "All Tables" screen?
Regards,
Tobias
This is what I see:
Notice: Undefined index: table_ids in /home5/aauwpres/public_html/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/views/view-list.php on line 120
Catchable fatal error: Argument 1 passed to TablePress_All_Tables_List_Table::set_items() must be of the type array, null given, called in /home5/aauwpres/public_html/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/views/view-list.php on line 120 and defined in /home5/aauwpres/public_html/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/views/view-list.php on line 290
Would it also help you to know that yesterday I contacted Bluehost with a different issue, and the they updated our php. Then today, the first time we've tried to access Tablepress, we couldn't do it. I contacted Bluehost thinking there must be a coection, but they said it was a plugin issue, not their updating of the php.
Hi,
ok, that sounds strange.
As a first step, can you please re-install TablePress from a fresh download? That might already fix this, as I assume that some files were not updated properly, or something like that.
Regards,
Tobias
Will our existing tables survive when I do this?
Hi,
yes, no worries, those are saved in the database and not in the files.
Regards,
Tobias
