fakurkr on "[Plugin: Loco Translate] Automatic update deletes my translations"

Hi,

Every time I install a plugin I get something like this:

1) Installing "New plugin"

2) It seems like translation files for "Other plugins you have" are outdated. Updating...

3) "New plugin" installed

4) Translations for "Other plugins you have" updated.

So I lose everything.
I have backed up my mo files somewhere else and I constantly replace them. sometimes they get replaced even if I don't install anything.

Any suggestion? Thanks in advance.

This is a well known issue. See FAQ #17 https://localise.biz/help/wordpress/translate-plugin/faqs#17

Loco 2.0 provides a "safe" location, but this version is only available for manual installation while in beta. https://localise.biz/help/wordpress/translate-plugin#v2
