beachliss on "About The Author"

I am using the Socially Viral theme and the "About the Author" is at the bottom of each post. I can't for the life of me figure out how to add my picture and a little blurb about me. I tried changing the user picture using Gravatar, but it's not linking. Picture is still blank - nothing written in the blurb.
What in all holy heck am I doing wrong? Going nuts over here. Thanks.
