Jackie McBride on "Issues uploading some photos"

Some photos I try to upload get a "HTTP error" message from various sources....attachments, etc. I've looked at the forum but the posts are several years old. Any idea what it could be and how to resolve it so all pictures can upload to blog. Thanks http://pullingcorksandforks.com/

Hi, Sandy, & welcome to the WordPress support forum. When you go to upload a photo, you should see something that says max file size is ___mb. The ___ means "fill in the blank", i.e., please tell us what that says. Now please compare the size of your photo that you were trying to upload. Is it larger than the particular size you're allowed to upload?

Sometimes this setting can bbe changed, depending on your host. You might wish to tell us who that is so we can at least steer you toward a relevant knowledge base article.
