There have been many rumours circulating over the last 2 years, about the series supposedly retuing. Unfortunately, Konami hasn't announced bugger all themselves.

Recently, the famous leaker "Dusk Golem" tweeted screenshots of a game he said his sources stated is being worked on. Seemingly, the main protagonist is a woman, and the game could be set in Britain, because the word "minger" is from the United Kingdom.
